Who You Are
We are looking for a motivated Plastics Technician with relevant experience in plastics manufacturing and production processes. The successful candidate will be technically minded, safety-conscious and able to work effectively within a production environment.
Responsibilities
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Setting up, operating and monitoring plastics production machinery and equipment.
- Inspecting machinery and production processes to identify faults or performance issues.
- Adjusting machine settings and production parameters to ensure product quality and consistency.
- Carrying out routine maintenance and assisting with repairs of production equipment.
- Monitoring production output and ensuring products meet required specifications and quality standards.
- Identifying and resolving technical and production issues.
- Maintaining accurate production and maintenance records.
- Ensuring workplace health and safety procedures are followed.
- Working with production staff to improve efficiency and minimise downtime.
What We’re Looking For
- Relevant qualification in plastics technology, manufacturing, engineering or a related field.
- Relevant experience working in plastics manufacturing or a similar production environment.
- Experience operating and troubleshooting plastics production machinery.
- Good mechanical and technical skills.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication and problem-solving skills.
