Trades Workforce Solutions is seeking a skilled, hands-on Mechanical Assembler to join our client’s specialist automotive workshop in Campbellfield.
Our client specialises in high-end imported vehicles, modifications and LHD to RHD conversions. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a passion for vehicles, strong practical skills and pride in their workmanship.
ABOUT THE ROLE
You'll be involved in assembling, fitting, modifying and converting vehicles, working on a variety of specialist automotive projects.
Key responsibilities include:
- Mechanical assembly and installation of automotive components.
- Vehicle modifications, retrofits and adjustments.
- LHD to RHD vehicle conversions.
- Automotive loom wiring and electrical modifications.
- Vehicle servicing, maintenance and basic fault diagnosis.
- Using hand and power tools while maintaining high-quality workmanship.
- Following workshop safety procedures and working collaboratively with the team.
ABOUT YOU
We're looking for someone with above-average mechanical ability and a genuine passion for cars.
Ideally, you'll have:
- Experience in mechanical assembly and automotive component fitting.
- Knowledge of automotive wiring and LHD to RHD conversions.
- Experience with vehicle modifications and retrofits.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Confidence using hand and power tools.
- A reliable attitude and the ability to work independently or in a team.
Qualified Mechanics are highly desirable, but candidates with strong hands-on mechanical experience will also be considered. Experience working on your own vehicles is a bonus!
