Psychologist / Provisional Psychologist

About the Client

Our client is a values-driven mental health organisation supporting individuals to live independent, fulfilling lives. Their multidisciplinary allied health team delivers high-quality, evidence-based NDIS services to participants, families, and carers.

About the Role

This opportunity sits within a collaborative allied health team, providing psychological assessment and therapeutic intervention to children and adults with mental ill health and dual disability, including complex presentations. You will manage a caseload and work closely with psychologists, occupational therapists, and other professionals to deliver person-centred outcomes.

Provisional Psychologists will work under AHPRA-compliant supervision.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver evidence-based psychological assessment and therapy
  • Conduct and interpret standardised assessments (within scope)
  • Develop case formulations and treatment plans
  • Contribute to Positive Behaviour Support plans (under supervision)
  • Prepare NDIS reports and funding documentation
  • Liaise with GPs, psychiatrists, NDIA, and other stakeholders

About You

  • Psychologist: General registration with AHPRA
  • Provisional Psychologist: Provisional registration and approved pathway
  • Strong assessment, reporting, and time-management skills
  • Interest or experience in mental health, NDIS, and dual disability
  • Driver’s licence and relevant NDIS checks (or willingness to obtain)
