Vines Cafe is located at 113 Old Smithfield Road, Freshwater, QLD 4870. We are looking for a fulltime Barista.
We are currently looking for a fulltime employee under the occupation of Barista for an immediate start. We are offering a yearly salary of $71,481 Per annum, plus superannuation to the successful applicant.
The successful applicant must be able to meet the criteria set out below:
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES:
Preparing, serving and selling coffee beverages – lattes, cappuccinos & other espresso-based beverages
Preparing, serving & selling cold drinks, cocktails, mixed drinks, bottled, other alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages
Preparing, serving & selling cakes and light snacks
Cleaning and maintaining service areas, coffee-making areas and espresso machines
Collecting payment for sales and operating cash registers
Promoting services and products
Washing and arranging glassware, cutlery and dishware
Replenishing drink dispensers, shelves and refrigerators
Selecting and grinding coffee
Supervision of junior staff members
WORK EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:
Must hold Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) certificate
Must have at least 2 years work experience within a similar role.
SKILLS:
Knowledge of barista and coffee preparation techniques including espresso extraction, milk texturing & latte art
Precision and attention to detail
Interpersonal skills and ability to work as part of a team
Ability to work independently
Attention to safety and hygiene standards
Multitasking in busy settings
