About the Role

As a Hygiene Operative, you'll play a critical role in maintaining the highest standards of food safety and hygiene across our production facility. You'll work as part of a dedicated team to ensure equipment and production areas are thoroughly cleaned, sanitised, and ready for daily operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitise production equipment, machinery, tools, tubs, bins, and trolleys

• Conduct pre-operational hygiene inspections

• Ensure all cleaning activities meet food safety, GMP, and site hygiene standards

• Safely handle and prepare cleaning chemicals

• Complete sanitation and cleaning documentation

• Report maintenance, equipment, or hygiene concerns

• Maintain a clean and organised work environment

• Work collaboratively with Production, Quality and Maintenance teams

About You

We're looking for reliable team players who take pride in their work and have a strong commitment to safety and quality.

Ideally, you'll have:

• Availability to work Monday to Friday on afternoon or night shift

• Experience in manufacturing, food processing, cleaning, sanitation, or similar environments

• Strong attention to detail

• A positive attitude and willingness to learn

• The ability to work in a fast-paced environment

• The ability to pass a pre-employment medical

• Comfort working around raw meat products, including pork
