Conditions: Mon - Fri 0830-1730. We are seeking a Locum GP VMO for a rare and highly attractive opportunity to join a well-established, supportive practice on a full-time basis, Monday to Friday, from Monday 21st September to Thrusday 24th December. We are ideally looking for a doctor who can cover most, if not the entire period, to ensure continuity of care for our valued patients and community. Located in the beautiful coastal town of Nelson Bay, serves the vibrant Port Stephens region, renowned for its stunning beaches, marine life, and relaxed lifestyle. The area offers an exceptional work–life balance, with opportunities for boating, fishing, hiking, and enjoying pristine coastline views. It’s an ideal location for GPs seeking a sea change without sacrificing professional fulfilment. The practice is approximately 2.5 hours’ drive from Sydney and around 45 minutes from Newcastle, with convenient access via major highways. Newcastle Airport offers regular flights to and from major Australian cities, making travel straightforward for interstate locums. Whether commuting from nearby centres or relocating temporarily for a coastal placement, this role offers both accessibility and lifestyle appeal.
