Riggers

DRD Group is seeking experienced Riggers - Intermediate & Advanced  with strong construction project experience to join our client for an immediate start.

You will be working on construction of a paste plant at a Gold mine,  supporting crane operators for safe lifting and locating of materials for the construction.

You'll need experience in;

• Estimate weights, evaluate center-of-gravity, and select the correct slings, shackles, and chains
• Rigging & Hoisting: Erect cranes, winches, and temporary scaffolding platforms.
• Signalling: Guide crane operators using standard hand signals or radios during lifts.
• Safety & Inspection: Inspect all rigging equipment for wear or damage before and after use, and enforce occupational health and safety (OHS) rules.
• Dismantling: Take down lifting gear and temporary structures safely once work finishes.
