About us
WMK Constructions Pty Ltd is seeking a Carpenter to join the team in Mount Duneed, VIC 3217. The role involves working across multiple job sites in VIC, carrying out all aspects of carpentry and formwork carpentry.
You’ll be responsible for constructing, installing, renovating, and repairing timber structures and fixtures across a variety of projects. This role is hands-on and reports directly to the Director.
Tasks/duties:
- Construct, install, renovate and repair structures made of wood and other materials
- Read and interpret working drawings to determine materials required, dimensions and installation procedures.
- Cut, assemble and install required materials on site.
- Erect timber framework, roof framing, install subfloors and verifying trueness of structures
- Nailing fascia panels, fitting exterior wall cladding and door and window frames.
- Assembling cut wood to form structures and fittings ready to install.
- Measuring and installing skirting, architraves and sills.
- May repair existing fittings
- May work with plastic laminates, perspex and metals
- Heritage restoration experience highly regarded!
Qualifications & Skills:
- Certificate III in Carpentry or equivalent
- Minimum of one year of relevant experience.
- Proficiency with construction tools and equipment.
- Strong understanding of safety protocols and compliance requirements.
- Attention to detail and precision in measurements and construction processes.
Successful candidates will be on an annual salary of $74,000 to $80,000, Plus Superannuation.
