About The Opportunity
The primary purpose of this position is to install, service, and maintain pumping systems while supporting workshop repairs and delivering exceptional customer service across Central Queensland.
Reporting directly to the Service Manager some of your responsibilities will include:
- Installing solar and 240V solar bore pump systems across customer sites
- Servicing, maintaining, and repairing water and bore pumps
- Repairing electrical motors and pumping equipment within the workshop
- Diagnosing faults and providing effective technical solutions
- Travelling to customer sites throughout the Central Queensland region
- Operating safely while maintaining high standards of workmanship
- Assisting with workshop operations and general equipment maintenance
- Providing professional customer service and technical advice
About You
The successful candidate will have:
- Experience installing solar and 240V solar bore pumping systems
- Strong mechanical aptitude with experience repairing pumps and motors
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
- Strong commitment to workplace health and safety
- Self-motivated and reliable approach to work
Highly regarded but not essential:
- Rural or agricultural background
- Domestic irrigation installation or servicing experience
- Willingness to undertake recognised irrigation industry training
