Your new role
We are seeking an experienced Senior IT Business Analyst to support the discovery, analysis and delivery of digital product enhancements. Working within a multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for understanding business needs, translating requirements into actionable outcomes, and ensuring solutions align with strategic objectives and customer expectations.
Key Responsibilities
- Elicit, analyse and document business and system requirements.
- Facilitate workshops, stakeholder interviews and requirements gathering sessions.
- Develop user stories and acceptance criteria.
- Collaborate with Product Owners to manage and refine product backlogs.
- Act as the bridge between business stakeholders and technical delivery teams.
- Support solution design, testing, UAT and implementation activities.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives across systems, processes and delivery practices.
What you'll need to succeed
To be successful you will demonstrate:
- 5+ years' experience as an IT Business Analyst within technology delivery environments.
- Experience delivering mobile applications, web portal solutions and API-enabled services.
- Strong understanding of Agile and Waterfall delivery methodologies.
- Excellent requirements elicitation, analysis and documentation skills.
- Proven stakeholder management and facilitation capability across business and technical teams.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to navigate ambiguity and competing priorities.
- Knowledge of APIs, integrations, data flows and solution architecture concepts.
Desirable
- Experience within government, healthcare or regulated environments.
- Exposure to FHIR standards.
- Experience using Azure DevOps.
