About the Client
Our client is a well-established Australian manufacturer and supplier of steel reinforcement products supporting the construction and infrastructure industries. They specialise in the manufacturing, processing and distribution of reinforcing steel, mesh and associated construction materials used across residential, commercial and civil projects.
Shift structure:
Rotating shift | Monday to Friday 6am to 2pm one week. 8am 4pm the following.
What You Will Be Doing
In this role you will be working as a factory hand to held manufacture steel and also operate the forklift. Your main duties will include:
- Loading steel onto pallets
- Packing products (mainly steel) as per an order sheet
- Operate machines to manufacture reinforcing bars
- Maintain cleanliness of the factory
What You Will Need
- Previous experience in a production or manufacturing environment (ideally in the steel industry)
- Drivers Licence + reliable transport
- Forklift Ticket
- Physically Fit
- Ability to pass a Pre Employment Medical + Drug & Alcohol Screen
