Synergie Australia is seeking Trade Assistants for our client in the modular building industry located in Edinburgh North.
The important parts:
• Shift: Monday – Friday, 6:30am – 3:00pm, with possible overtime
• Pay Rate: $38.12 per hour plus penalties, with higher rates for Trade Qualified candidates
• Opportunities for permanency following a qualifying period
What you will be required to do:
As a Trade Assistant, you will support the construction and assembly of modular buildings, working alongside a skilled team to ensure projects are completed to the highest standard.
• Assist with roofing, cladding, and general building tasks
• Carry out gyprocking, plasterboard fixing, and fit-outs
• Support steel frame construction and sheet metal work
• Perform general maintenance and construction assistance
• Ensure all work is performed safely and to quality standards
To be successful in the role you will:
• Have previous experience in construction/building or as a Trade Assistant (modular building experience highly regarded)
• Possess skills in roofing, cladding, carpentry, or sheet metal (bonus but not essential)
• Be willing to undergo and pass a full functional medical assessment including drug & alcohol screening
• Have full working rights in Australia
• Have access to reliable transport and ability to get to work
• Demonstrate a positive attitude towards safety and its importance in every role
