Findmea is currently seeking a mechanically minded Machine Operator / Labourer to join a well-established recycling and manufacturing operation based in Hemmant.
This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on work, operating machinery and being part of a reliable production team.

About the role
Working within a specialised recycling facility, you will operate machinery used to process and compress recyclable materials into compact bales for storage and transport.
Your duties will include:
- Operating and monitoring recycling and production machinery
- Using machine controls and HMI panels to manage equipment
- Monitoring production output and identifying operational issues
- Troubleshooting basic machinery problems
- Performing general labouring and housekeeping duties
- Maintaining a clean, safe and organised work environment
- Following workplace health and safety procedures
What we're looking for
We're interested in people who are practical, reliable and mechanically minded.
Ideally, you will have:
- Previous machine operating or manufacturing experience
- Good mechanical aptitude and the ability to troubleshoot machinery
- Experience using HMI control panels (highly regarded)
- A strong commitment to workplace safety
- Good communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team
- A positive attitude and willingness to get hands-on
