Job Description

The care work you do may include:

  • Helping around the home - assisting with light housekeeping / cleaning and meal preparation 
  • Supporting with personal care – helping with showering and getting dressed 
  • Providing transport to appointments, and accompanying clients on shopping trips
  • Social outings like Cinema, Bingo, Lunches, Coffee to name a few.

Our Home Care Services provides quality care to people in their own home. As a Support Worker you will develop a relationship with a group of clients and their families and provide a wide range of services.

Desired Skills and Experience

The qualities we seek are:

  • Relevant Certificate III Qualification.
  • Access to ongoing training including recertification of CPR
  • Have a working Smartphone.
  • Excellent communication skills, empathy for and an understanding of the needs of the elderly
  • Have a genuine desire to help improve the lives of seniors and their families
  • Able to provide a reliable car with full comprehensive car insurance
  • Be an Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident or Have Rights to Work in Australia
  • Police check, NDIS workers check and Covid vaccinations (including booster) mandatory.
  • Have a current First Aid Certificate.
