Aequalis Consulting is partnering with a well-regarded advisory business to appoint a Senior Advisor within its Transactions & Commercial Advisory team.

This opportunity sits at the heart of major infrastructure project delivery, supporting clients through the planning, procurement, and commercial structuring of complex programs.

The Role

You will contribute to the successful delivery of infrastructure transactions by:

• Supporting and leading end-to-end procurement processes, including EOI and RFT stages

• Developing commercial strategies, delivery models, and evaluation frameworks 

• Analysing financial, commercial and risk considerations to inform client decisions

• Producing high-quality documentation and structured outputs

• Working closely with clients to guide critical decision-making points

• Coordinating inputs across multidisciplinary project teams 

About You

You are an experienced professional with a background in infrastructure transactions or commercial advisory, bringing:

• Approximately 10+ years’ experience in relevant environments

• Experience working on major project procurements (ideally $200m+)

• Strong understanding of procurement frameworks, transaction strategy, and risk allocation 

• Exceptional ability to communicate clear, practical advice to clients 

• Confidence working with senior stakeholders across government and industry
