The Opportunity
  
An exciting opportunity for an Accounts Payable Officer looking to progress their career in a highly regarded Australian retail business with a market leading presence.
  
Reporting directly to the Finance Manager, this is a standalone AP position offering full ownership of the function. You will work alongside a close-knit accounting team in an engaging and collaborative environment. The ideal candidate will have 1-3+ years accounts payable experience, a strong work ethic, and will be systems savvy. 
The Challenge
  
In this hands-on role, you will take full responsibility for the Accounts Payable function and will be a key contact in the team with AP-related queries.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Processing a high volume of invoices in a timely and accurate fashion
• Reviewing invoices, and seeking appropriate approvals
• Reconciling bank accounts and manage credit card transactions
• Resolving Accounts Payable queries with suppliers and company division
• Review and action month end tasks as required
• Assist with all other accounting & administration requirements as requested by the Finance Manager

The Expertise
  
This opportunity is best suited to an Accounts Payable professional who is reliable, organised, and ready to progress their career within a collaborative accounting function. Furthermore, it is likely that you will possess the following:

• 1-3+ years’ end to end Accounts Payable experience
• Detail oriented, reliable, good communicator, authentic, and willing to learn
• Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
• Experience working with Microsoft Dynamics Navision will be highly regarded
• Confidence working autonomously within a small finance team
