They are currently seeking a skilled and dedicated Carpenter to join the growing team.
Edenview Homes is looking for an experienced and motivated Carpenter to work on various projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for constructing, installing, and repairing structures and fixtures made from wood and other materials, contributing to the delivery of high-standard homes.
Roles and responsibilities:
·Understanding and interpreting drawings and blueprints to determine project specifications, dimensions and layout.
·Installing structures and framework of buildings, including walls, floors, and doorframes, by measuring, cutting, and assembling materials and fixtures such as windows, frames, floorings, trim, and hardware.
·Inspecting and repairing damaged structures and fixtures and performing maintenance work to ensure longevity and stability.
·Constructing and installing various types of cabinetry, shelves, and custom furniture as per the design specifications.
·Ensuring all work complies with local building codes and regulations and following safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
·Managing timelines and coordinating with clients and contractors to ensure projects are completed on schedule.
·Applying finishes, such as stains, varnishes, and paints, to wooden structures to protect and enhance their appearance.
Skills & Experience:
·The Candidate have minimum 1-year relevant experience
·Certificate III level qualification is required
·Strong knowledge of carpentry techniques, materials, and tools.
·Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
·Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Salary: $75,000 - $90,000 plus Superannuation per annum.
