Restaurant Manager

Located in Eneabba WA 6518, The Whereaway Tavern is a country pub offering food, beverages and entertainment in a relaxed atmosphere. The business is currently seeking a skilled Restaurant Manager to manage its hospitality operations and join their team.

Key Responsibilities

• Managing the day-to-day food and beverage operations of the venue.
• Supervising and coordinating hospitality staff and daily service activities.
• Managing staff rosters and allocating duties to support efficient operations.
• Maintaining high standards of customer service and handling customer enquiries and feedback.
• Monitoring stock levels and coordinating the ordering of food, beverages and other supplies.
• Maintaining appropriate standards of cleanliness, presentation and service throughout the venue.
• Ensuring compliance with food safety, hygiene, workplace health and safety and applicable liquor licensing requirements.
• Coordinating with kitchen and front-of-house staff to ensure efficient food and beverage service.
• Monitoring operational costs and assisting with budgeting and cost control.
• Supporting the smooth operation of functions and entertainment activities hosted at the venue.

About You

• At least 1 year of relevant experience in restaurant, venue or hospitality management.
• Strong leadership and staff supervision skills.
• Sound knowledge of food and beverage operations.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Good organisational and time management abilities.
• Understanding of food safety, hygiene and relevant hospitality requirements.
• Ability to manage stock and coordinate daily operational requirements.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a hospitality team.

Job Type: Permanent / Full-time
Salary: AUD $80,000 – $100,000 per annum
