ROLE 1 – MECHANICAL TRADE ASSISTANT / WORKSHOP ASSISTANT
Our client is seeking an experienced Mechanical Trade Assistant / Workshop Assistant to join their Malaga workshop, assisting with the maintenance and servicing of specialised vehicles and equipment.
Malaga | $38.44–$41.00/hr + super + penalties
Monday–Friday | 6:00am–2:30pm + OT
Temp-to-Perm | Training & Upskilling | PPE Supplied
Duties include:
- Assisting with repairs and preventative maintenance on vacuum trucks, jetters, sweepers, prime movers and tippers
- Basic welding, fabrication and component repairs
- Using workshop hand and power tools
- Forklift operation and parts handling
- Stock control and general workshop duties
Requirements:
- Mechanical workshop / TA experience
- Forklift licence
- Driver’s Licence
- Good mechanical aptitude
- White Card or willingness to obtain
- Able to pass a pre-employment medical and D&A assessment
ROLE 2 – CIVIL LABOURER
An experienced Civil Labourer is required to join the client's growing Perth metro team, working across drainage, pipelaying and general civil projects.
Malaga Depot + Perth Metro | $38.44–$40.00/hr + super + penalties
Monday–Friday | 6:00am–2:10pm + OT
Temp-to-Perm | Training & Upskilling
Duties include:
- Stormwater drainage and pipelaying
- Shovelling, digging and trenching
- Operating small plant and equipment
- Using basic hand tools for service installation
- General labouring and site clean-up
- Completing pre-starts and JSEAs
Requirements:
- Previous civil, construction, drainage or pipelaying experience
- C Class Manual Licence (MR highly advantageous)
- White Card
- Physically fit and comfortable working outdoors
- Safety-focused and reliable
ROLE 3 – DRAINAGE OFFSIDER
A great entry-level opportunity for a Drainage Offsider looking to get into the civil and drainage industry. Full training is provided, working alongside experienced truck drivers and drainage crews.
Malaga Depot + Perth Metro | $38.44–$40.00/hr + super + penalties
Monday–Friday | 6:30am–2:40pm + OT
Temp-to-Perm | Full Training Provided
Duties include:
- Assisting truck drivers with drainage works
- Drainage maintenance and cleaning
- Assisting with CCTV inspections of drainage structures
- General labouring and site clean-up
- Equipment setup and pack-up
- Using basic hand tools and equipment
Requirements:
- C Class Driver’s Licence
- White Card
- Reliable, hardworking and willing to learn
- Comfortable with physical outdoor work
- Good communication and ability to follow instructions
- Previous labouring experience advantageous but not essential
All roles require full Australian working rights and the ability to pass a pre-employment Drug & Alcohol assessment.
