About the opportunity
We are currently seeking an efficient and professional permanent part time Food Services Assistantto join our Food Services Team at our Moran Engadine home, nested in a family oriented suburb in southern Sydney.
- Shift Schedule: Monday 11:00am to 19:00pm, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday & Friday 14:30pm to 19:00pm
You will work with driven and diverse people in modern facilities where you will be enabled to develop your skills.
You will work with a great team of dedicated people and your contribution will make a difference to our residents’ enjoyment of their life every day. Moran offers a rewarding work environment consisting of modern facilities and equipment.
We are looking for motivated individuals to join us for a casual opportunity.
Key Duties:
- Plating food at mealtimes
- Preparing food under the direction of Chef
- Keeping your assigned work area clean ready for handover to the next shift
- Restocking supplies and receive goods
- Recording temperatures, complete checklists
- Maintaining personal hygiene standards
- Working as a member of the Food Services teams
Skills/Requirements:
- Interested in food, nutrition, or general well-being and their benefits
- Interested in working as part of a team in a kitchen environment
- A person who takes pride in what they do
- Food Safety or Food Handling Certificate highly desirable
- Must have a valid work permit and a current police check
- Current?Influenza and COVID-19 vaccination including booster
