Cocktail Bar Attendant
- Prepare and serve classic cocktails, other beverages and food orders at The Douglas Club.
- Provide attentive guest service, answer queries and ensure the bar and service area are clean and ready.
- Work 25–30 hours per week across a seven-day roster, including weekends and public holidays.

About the role
The Douglas Club is an intimate cocktail bar in the heart of Melbourne’s CBD. Set in a heritage listed building, The Douglas Club will merge the luxury and glamour from the 1930’s golden age of travel with modern design and technology.
- Showcase your personality by engaging with our guests
- Receive orders and serve customers in a timely manner
- Create and serve a range of beverages including classic cocktails, mixers, beer & wine
- Take and deliver food orders
- Understand menu content, any menu changes, and promotional activities
- Keep your service area clean, tidy, and well-prepared
- Efficiently manage the proper settlement of all customer accounts
- Answer guest queries in a polite and helpful manner
What are we looking for?
Previous experience within a cocktail bar
Knowledge and ability to create classic cocktails
Exceptional personal presentation and communication skills
Flexibility to respond quickly and positively to a range of work situations
Passion for delivering exceptional levels of guest service
Ability to work around a 7 day week roster including weekends and public holidays
- 25 - 30 hours availability per week (with a minimum of 3 days availability)
