Senior Business Analyst

Lead an operating model and organisational design review within a complex public sector environment.

Your new company
Hays has partnered with a large public sector organisation seeking an experienced Senior Business Analyst for an initial contract of up to six months. This Brisbane-based role will support a significant organisational transformation program.
Your new role
Working closely with senior leaders, internal stakeholders and an external consultancy, you will lead a comprehensive review of a key branchs operating model and organisational structure. Your responsibilities will include:

• Documenting current structures, budgets, FTE, processes and service catalogues
• Conducting detailed discovery and current-state analysis
• Developing a strategic business case for change
• Designing future-state operating models and organisational structures
• Preparing implementation roadmaps and transition plans
• Mapping critical processes and recommending improvements
• Translating business requirements into practical operational and system solutions
• Supporting alignment with broader organisational change initiatives
• Managing consultancy scope, deliverables, performance and outcomes

What you'll need to succeed
To be successful, you will have:

• Demonstrated organisational design and operating model experience
• Proven capability developing strategic business cases and evidence-based recommendations
• Experience analysing organisational structures, budgets and workforce requirements
• Strong stakeholder engagement skills across executive, management and operational levels
• Experience supporting complex transformation programs
• Strong analytical, project and product management capabilities
• The ability to translate complex information into pragmatic implementation plans
