About the Client
Our client is an established civil construction contractor delivering a range of infrastructure, urban development and commercial projects. Their capabilities include bulk earthworks, roadworks, drainage, sewer and water infrastructure, utilities and site development.
Shift structure:
Monday to Friday | 6:30am starts with overtime on offer!
What You Will Be Doing
You will be performing labouring duties on a civil development project and will be doing the following duties:
- Assist with subdivision civil works, including site preparation, earthworks, trenching and general construction activities
- Assist with the installation of stormwater drainage, sewer, water and underground service infrastructure
- Perform road crossing works, including excavation, pipe installation, backfilling and reinstatement under supervision
- Assist plant operators with spotting, directing machinery and maintaining safe exclusion zones around excavation and construction activities
- Undertake bedding, backfilling, compaction and levelling using hand tools and compaction equipment
- Assist with kerb, footpath, road preparation and pavement works, including general concreting and site clean-up
What You Will Need
- Drivers Licence + reliable transport
- Previous civil or construction experience (min 6 months)
- White Card
