WHS Advisor
- Support a Queensland Local Government organisation as a WHS Advisor.
- Provide WHS advice and support during increased operational activity.
- Contribute to compliance, risk management, and safety improvement initiatives.
LO-GO Appointments is currently seeking an experienced WHS Advisor to support a Queensland Local Government organisation for a 3 month assignment in North Queensland.
The role will support the team during a period of increased operational activity and provide WHS advice and support across the organisation while contributing to compliance, risk management and safety improvement initiatives.
About You:
- Relevant Work Health & Safety qualifications (min Cert IV)
- Demonstrated experience in a WHS Advisor, Safety Advisor or similar role
- Strong understanding of WHS legislation and risk management principles
- Experience conducting investigations and supporting return-to-work processes
- Experience in the use of Safety Management Systems
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills
- Experience in Local Government or similiar regulated environment will be highly regarded
- C Class Drivers Licence
