Pool Technician
- Servicing, cleaning and maintaining customers' swimming pools.
- Identifying equipment faults and carrying out basic repairs.
- Assisting customers in the pool shop with products and servicing enquiries.
Our client is seeking a reliable and hands-on Pool Technician to join their team in Brisbane on a full-time basis. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys practical work, has good customer service skills and is comfortable working both independently and as part of a team.
This is a varied role combining on-site pool servicing, maintenance and repairs with customer service and general duties in the pool shop. The position offers a salary of $60,000–$80,000 per annum, depending on experience, with approximately 38–40 hours per week. A vehicle will also be available for travel to customer jobs.
What you’ll be doing:
- Servicing, cleaning and maintaining customers' swimming pools
- Testing pool water and adjusting chemical levels as required
- Identifying equipment faults and carrying out basic repairs
- Assisting customers in the pool shop with products and servicing enquiries
- Helping with stock management and keeping the shop clean and organised
- Maintaining accurate service records and providing updates on completed jobs
- Working independently at customer locations and supporting the team with daily tasks
What you’ll need:
- Previous pool servicing or maintenance experience, preferred
- Good practical skills and the ability to identify and solve problems
- Willingness to learn and develop your skills
- Friendly attitude and good customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and manage daily tasks
- Strong attention to detail and good organisational skills
- Reliable, punctual and comfortable with hands-on work
- Current driver's licence
- Flexibility to work Saturdays if required, with arrangements to be confirmed
