About the Role
As a Christmas Casual Retail Assistant, you’ll play an important role in helping our customers find what they need during one of the busiest and most exciting times of the year.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Providing friendly, helpful and professional customer service.
- Assisting customers with beauty, skincare, giftware and everyday health and wellbeing products.
- Operating registers and processing customer purchases.
- Replenishing stock, maintaining shelves and ensuring the store is well presented.
- Supporting promotional displays and Christmas merchandising.
- Working collaboratively with the team to create a positive shopping experience.
About You
We’re looking for someone who:
- Has a positive attitude and a genuine passion for customer service.
- Is reliable, punctual and willing to learn.
- Enjoys working as part of a supportive team.
- Can work efficiently in a busy retail environment.
- Takes pride in maintaining a clean, organised and welcoming store.
- Has flexibility to work across weekdays, weekends and the Christmas trading period.
Previous retail or pharmacy experience is an advantage, but not essential. We’re happy to provide training to the right person with a great attitude!

John still works in the various pharmacies, he is a hands-on person who is passionate about developing people particularly pharmacists and creating career pathways. John is committed to each of our pharmacies and visits each of them regularly to spend time with the teams, the customers and the community. The goal is to continue to improve and keep up to date with the constant changes in pharmacy to ensure we exceed our customers’ needs, so they become advocates of the business.
