The Opportunity
An exciting new role within the legal team has arisen due to growth as part of this major national construction company in their Brisbane office. Working with a well established team, you will enjoy working with your peers as part of a fast paced and dynamic environment.
This national company has continued to go from strength to strength, boasting an impressive client base including federal government agencies and blue-chips. You will enjoy first class work, predominantly focussed on front-end matters. You will work across a varied and interesting range of construction and related matters including resolving construction disputes, advising on complex contracts and drafting a variety of legal documents.
About You
To be considered for this opportunity, you will have a minimum of 6 years post admission experience and candidates up to the Special Counsel level will also be considered. You may have a mix of both front-end or back-end construction experience, gained either in a mid-tier or top-tier law firm, with a desire to focus on front-end matters. Relevant experience in major construction projects and exceptional attention to detail is essential.
You will have the confidence and ability to deal with both internal and external stakeholders. You will have strong attention to detail and pride yourself in your drafting abilities.
You may be looking to make your first move in-house, having gained solid experience as part of a premier construction team in private practice. Candidates with relevant in-house experience will also be highly desirable. You will be down-to-earth in your approach and be a strong team player.
