Cabinet / Furniture Making Tradesperson
- Interpret workshop drawings and calculate material and cutting lists.
- Operate CNC woodworking machinery and assemble furniture components.
- Work independently and as part of a team to produce high-quality furniture.
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Cabinet / Furniture Making Tradesperson to join our Team and apply their expertise to the production of high-quality furniture.
Key Responsibilities
- Interpret workshop drawings
- Ability to calculate material and cutting lists
- Construct jigs and fixtures as required
- Operate CNC woodworking machinery, including flat-bed CNC machine, panel saw and thicknesser
- Select appropriate materials, fittings and hardware
- Assemble and finish furniture components to a high standard
We're looking for someone who:
- Holds a trade qualification or has at least 2 years' experience in Cabinet Making, Furniture Making or a related trade.
- Has experience operating Biesse flat-bed machine desirable but not essential.
- Has knowledge of timber materials, hardware and construction methods.
- Has strong measuring, problem-solving skills and pays close attention to detail.
- Works well independently and as part of a team.
