About the role
The Project Officer, English and Literacy provides leadership and expertise in the implementation of the Brightpath Writing Assessment Tool.
The Officer works with the Program Manager and a team responsible for implementing the Brightpath writing assessment tool and the provision of a professional learning program.
The Project Officer contributes to implementing the Brightpath writing assessment tool and professional learning program with reference to NAPLAN.
The Project Officer, English and Literacy provides high level expertise to the English and Literacy Unit, facilitating seamless coordination between their work and those of other teams within the Curriculum and Learning Division, especially those dedicated to enhancing English and Literacy achievement.
Qualifications
Essential: Current full teacher registration
Desirable: Nil
Special conditions
The successful applicant is required to gain a Department for Human Services (DHS) working with children check (WWCC) prior to being employed which is required to be renewed every five years before expiry.
The incumbent will be required to undertake RRHAN –EC (Responding to Risks of Harm, Abuse and Neglect - Education Care) Facilitator Lead (Masterclass) extended course or the online (Fundamentals) course which will be required to be updated every three years.

Remuneration
STL3 $152,287 per annum (1.0 FTE) + superannuation (12%)
