Your Time to Shine

The Project Manager is accountable for the development and delivery of capital works projects via the utilisation of detailed project management activities. Successful outcomes will be achieved by engaging in and overseeing project research activities, business case development, stakeholder consultation, project planning, designing, project delivery and project closure while monitoring and reporting on project status to comply with agreed governance arrangements.

What You’ll Bring

  • Proven experience in the development and management of a range of capital projects in line with construction under the Government construction procurement policy and project implementation which includes preparing project plans, project briefs, business cases, briefing papers, project documentation as well as reporting on project progression.
  • Proven experience in managing a range of consultants in a construction environment including architects, engineers, building contractors and other asset management and construction professionals in order to implement capital works. 
  • Well-developed interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills to consult and liaise collaboratively with project stakeholders, respond effectively to the requirements of a diverse client base, identify and analyse conflict and successfully negotiate on complex and sensitive issues.
  • Appropriate qualifications in Project Management or a similar discipline is essential
  • Qualifications in Building and Construction or a similar discipline is highly desirable

What You Need to Know

A valid Working with Children Check (WWCC) issued by the South Australian Department of Human Services is required before employment.
