About the Role
Join a leading cardiac service delivering care across northern Tasmania. Based at a major tertiary hospital, you will provide high-quality cardiology services across inpatient, outpatient, and procedural settings. Reporting to the Clinical Director, this role blends clinical excellence, procedural work, and teaching, with opportunities to contribute to service development and leadership.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver comprehensive cardiology assessment, diagnosis, and management
- Perform and interpret cardiac investigations and procedures
- Participate in on-call and acute cardiac response
- Supervise and educate junior medical staff and trainees
Essential Criteria
- Specialist registration or eligibility in Cardiology (Australia)
- IMG candidates on specialist pathway or with recognised qualifications
- Current Driver’s Licence
- Demonstrated clinical expertise and commitment to patient care
