Our client is a well-established electrical services business operating throughout the Whitsunday region. Known for quality workmanship and reliable service, they are looking for an experienced Electrician to join their team on a long-term basis, servicing customers from Bowen through to Midge Point.

Your new role

We are seeking a highly experienced Electrician with air conditioning experience to join a busy team based from Strathdickie. Working Tuesday to Friday from 7:00am to 5:00pm, you'll enjoy a four-day working week while servicing clients across the Whitsunday region.
This is a varied, hands-on role suited to an experienced tradesperson who is confident working independently, troubleshooting faults and delivering high-quality electrical and air conditioning services.
Your duties may include:

• Electrical installation, maintenance and repair work
• Air conditioning servicing and associated electrical works
• Fault finding and troubleshooting
• Preventative and reactive maintenance
• Travelling to jobs between Bowen and Midge Point
• Maintaining high-quality workmanship and safety standards
• Providing professional service to customers
• Completing relevant job documentation

What you'll need to succeed

• Electrical trade qualification
• Current Electrical Licence
• 10+ years' electrical experience highly regarded
• Demonstrated air conditioning experience
• Strong fault-finding and maintenance skills
• Ability to work confidently and independently
• Excellent attention to detail and quality workmanship
• Strong commitment to workplace health and safety
• Reliable and professional approach
• Based locally in the Whitsundays or within travelling distance of Strathdickie
• Contactable work references

This is a long-term opportunity for the right person, offering varied work throughout the beautiful Whitsunday region. The business also has a scheduled Christmas closure from 23 December to 5 January.
