We are seeking Casual and Part Time Support Service Attendants at our location at Queen Elizabeth Hospital, in Woodville South.

Current opportunities are available on the following rosters:

  • Full Time - Monday to Friday, 11am to 7.06pm (76 hours per fortnight)
  • Full Time - rotational roster with Weeks 1 to 5 on 11pm to 7.06am and a few days in Week 6 on 9am to 5.06pm (76 hours per fortnight)
  • Part Time - rotational roster with Week 1 a few days on 7am to 3.06pm, then Weeks 2 to 6, overnight shifts (starting at10/11pm and finishing at 6/7am)

The role:

  • Assist with patient movement and co-ordination throughout the site
  • Transport medical equipment across the site as needed
  • Collect and deliver records and documentation
  • Follow all infection prevention protocols
  • Adhere to correct manual handling procedures and WHS practices

About you:

  • Effective interpersonal communication
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritise workloads
  • Commitment to continuous quality improvement
  • Ability to adhere to and maintain WH&S standards
  • Experience working in a health or aged care setting would be advantageous

Minimum Criteria:

  • Must be able to work a flexible rotating roster, including weekends and nighshifts.
  • Evidence of immunisation for Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, Influenza, Tetanus, Pertussis, Diphtheria, Hep B, Polio
  • Current Police Clearance no older than 12 months is essential 
  • Current DHS Working with Children Check (WWCC) is essential 
  • Demonstrate a positive attitude and drive to deliver strong customer service
