Accounts Receivable Officer - Shared Services

A leading Property group is seeking an Accounts Receivable Officer to join its Shared Services team. This role delivers accurate and timely service to internal and external customers by managing cash allocations, bank journals and bank reconciliations across multiple bank accounts, while supporting process improvements and team efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Allocate customer receipts accurately and on time, ensuring accounts are up to date
• Prepare bank journals and complete bank reconciliations across multiple bank accounts
• Investigate and resolve unallocated cash and reconciling items
• Resolve first-contact customer enquiries efficiently and professionally
• Maintain Vendor Master Data and use systems and technology to manage work tasks and update records
• Escalate work tasks as appropriate to ensure timely resolution
• Support process improvement initiatives within the Shared Service
• Manage the Accounts Receivable inbox, delegating requests appropriately

About You

• 2+ years' end-to-end Accounts Receivable experience, including cash application and bank reconciliations
• Practical experience processing transactions in an ERP system (SAP highly regarded)
• Excellent customer service skills
• A logically strong-minded and methodical approach with an excellent eye for detail
