Systems Analyst | 3 Month Contract | Melbourne

About the opportunity

• Join a large, well-established Melbourne organisation as it prepares for the go-live of a major new enterprise equipment registry system
• Work closely with the vendor and project team through the final stretch of implementation and into hypercare
• A hands-on role at the centre of a genuinely cross-functional rollout, spanning IT, operations and frontline system users
• Melbourne based, with the flexibility to work across a small number of sites
• Initial 3 month engagement with immediate start

The role

• Support go-live readiness activities and planning across the final weeks of implementation
• Work directly with the vendor and project team to resolve outstanding issues and actions
• Support user acceptance testing, including test execution, defect identification and tracking through to resolution
• Help build the operational support model and documentation needed to move from project delivery into business-as-usual
• Act as a dedicated point of contact for system users during onboarding and the post go-live hypercare period

What you'll bring

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficiency in software configuration, database management and system integration
• Demonstrated experience training others in processes and systems
• Strong stakeholder management skills, including experience managing external vendors
• Excellent problem-solving skills
