Your new company
We have a great opportunity for a competent Contract Administrator to join a reputable commercial builder on the Sunshine Coast. Well regarded for delivering a variety of commercial projects, from schools to various Govt Building Infrastructure and luxury Units. They have also won their fair share of Master Builder awards.
Your new role
This will be an office-based role on the Sunshine Coast with site interaction for local projects. You will support the Senior Project Manager with procuring trades, materials and scheduling works. You will also process variations, progress claims and ensure the projects are running smoothly and efficiently on time and to budget. You will complement a high-performing team with a genuine opportunity for career progression to Project Manager, should you desire it.
What you'll need to succeed
To be considered for this role, you must have experience as a Contract Administrator working on Commercial Construction Projects for the principal contractor. Experience with unit development and/or schools would be advantageous (but not essential), while a strong work ethic and can-do attitude are essential. A tertiary qualification, such as a Degree in Construction Management or trade qualification would be well regarded. Only applicants with Australian experience will be considered, while a connection to the Sunshine Coast is preferred.
What you'll get in return
Salary will be commensurate with experience, up to $165k total package is a good indicator. This role will also offer flexibility and work-life balance within reason. Progression into a more senior role is also possible with career development into a PM role if desired.
