IT Systems Analyst | Permanent Role
Your New Company
Youll be joining a wellestablished business operating within a complex and highly customised technical landscape. The organisation runs both onpremises infrastructure and a deeply tailored legacy ERP system, supporting operations across Australia and a recently acquired New Zealand entity. Youll work closely with a small, handson IT team where youll have real ownership, exposure to multiple technologies, and the ability to directly influence system stability, process improvement, and long-term transformation.
Your New Role
As the IT Systems Analyst, youll work across infrastructure, SQL, and a highly customised ERP environment. This role suits someone who enjoys variety, technical depth, and working in a small IT team where youll have real influence.
You will:
- Provide Level 2 support across Windows Server and core infrastructure.
- Analyse and debug SQL issues, including stored procedures.
- Support and maintain a heavily customised legacy ERP with no vendor support.
- Assist with integrating a newly acquired NZ business into the ERP system.
- Contribute to longterm planning for future system and ERP improvements.
This is a broad role covering daytoday support, systems troubleshooting, and midrange project work, with plenty of autonomy and ownership across the environment.
What Youll Need to Succeed
Technical Skills
- Strong experience supporting and configuring Windows Server and core Microsoft technologies.
- Proficiency in SQL, including tracing, debugging and writing stored procedures.
- Exposure to ERP systems particularly customised, legacy or unsupported platforms.
- Experience delivering Level 2 infrastructure support (GPO, login issues, printing, serverside troubleshooting).
Preferred Background
- Experience working in a small team or SME environment where multitasking is essential.
- Background as a Systems Analyst, Senior Support Engineer, Coordinator, or Subject-Matter Expert.
- Experience supporting bespoke business systems with minimal vendor support.
- Understanding of wholesale, retail, manufacturing or distribution workflows (advantageous but not essential).
