2 x Permanent full-time positions
38 hours a week + Rostered day off every fortnight
Salary: $82,918.16 - $96,364.07 + 12% Superannuation per annum

What You'll Do

As a Team Leader - Civil Infrastructure, you’ll lead and supervise field crews delivering programmed and reactive civil maintenance and construction works. You’ll coordinate daily activities, allocate resources, monitor productivity and ensure works are completed safely, efficiently and to the required quality standards.

You’ll oversee WHS requirements, coordinate plant, equipment, materials and contractors, and provide hands-on coaching and support to team members and apprentices. You’ll also keep Supervisors informed through accurate reporting on progress, site conditions, risks and emerging issues, helping ensure smooth and effective delivery of civil infrastructure works.

What You'll Need

  1. Demonstrated experience operating civil construction and maintenance plant.
  2. Demonstrated experience leading civil maintenance and or construction crews.
  3. Strong working knowledge of civil construction standards, specifications and safe work practices. Ability to interpret basic plans, drawings and specifications.
  4. Experience coordinating plant and materials across worksites.
  5. Demonstrated experience in the use of computer applications or works management scheduling systems.
  6. Sound communication and leadership capability.
  7. Current HR Driver's licence or willingness to obtain within 3 months.

Desirable Criteria

  1. Traffic Control Certification (PWZ).
  2. Certificate IV in Civil Construction, Road Construction or equivalent industry experience.
  3. Certificate IV in Leadership and Management.
  4. Plant VOC (Grader, Excavator, Skid Steer, Loader etc).

Other Requirements

  • Maintain a current driver's licence without restriction and ability to operate manual transmission
  • Complete a satisfactory pre-employment medical assessment prior to commencement
  • Participate in on-call roster and overtime where required
