We're looking for a Social Business Director to help lead and grow our social capability across a portfolio of leading brands, while shaping some of the most exciting social-first work in the Australian market.
About the Role
This is a senior client leadership role for someone who lives and breathes social.
You'll lead key client relationships, oversee social and influencer workstreams, drive commercial growth and partner closely with strategy, creative, production and community teams to deliver culturally relevant work that gets noticed.
You'll be a champion for social-first thinking across the agency, helping clients navigate an ever-changing platform landscape while building Droga5's reputation as a market-leading social and creative business.
What You'll Do
Lead senior client relationships across social, content and influencer programs.
Act as a trusted advisor to clients on social strategy, community engagement and cultural relevance.
Partner with creative, strategy and production teams to develop integrated social-first campaigns.
Oversee the delivery of always-on, reactive and campaign-based social workstreams.
Identify opportunities to grow existing accounts and expand social capability across clients.
Lead forecasting, commercial management, resourcing and account profitability.
Mobilise multidisciplinary teams and create an environment where great work can thrive.
Support new business opportunities and help showcase Droga5's social offering to prospective clients.
Mentor and develop account, social and client service talent across the business.
Champion innovative approaches to social, influencer and creator-led storytelling.

Qualification
What We're Looking For
4+ years' experience in a social agency, influencer agency, or running social within a creative or integrated agency environment.
Strong experience leading social accounts in fast-paced, high-volume environments.
Proven ability to build trusted relationships with senior clients and stakeholders.
Experience delivering integrated social, influencer and content-led campaigns.
Strong commercial acumen, including experience managing budgets, scopes and profitability.
Deep understanding of social platforms, creator ecosystems, social trends and online culture.
Excellent communication, presentation and stakeholder management skills.
Experience leading teams and bringing together multiple disciplines to deliver outstanding work.
A passion for creativity and driving measurable impact through social and cultural ideas.
