Boilermaker | Beaudesert | QLD

CELOTTI WORKFORCE is currently seeking an experienced Trade Qualified Boilermaker to join our client’s processing facility in Beaudesert, QLD.

This role offers an immediate start for the right candidate, working within the plant’s maintenance team to support the safe and efficient operation of processing equipment and infrastructure. The position offers rotating 12-hour shifts, with the potential to transition from temp-to-perm for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform preventative and reactive maintenance on processing plant equipment and infrastructure
• Carry out fabrication, welding, repairs and modifications to plant and equipment
• Diagnose and repair structural, mechanical and fabrication-related faults
• Complete inspections, maintenance and repairs on machinery, equipment, chutes, guards, platforms and associated structures
• Assist with planned maintenance and shutdown activities
• Undertake welding and fabrication repairs using appropriate welding processes and techniques
• Identify potential equipment and structural issues and complete corrective repairs
• Read and interpret engineering drawings, plans and specifications
• Work closely with production and maintenance teams to minimise downtime
• Maintain the safe and efficient operation of plant, equipment and infrastructure
• Follow all site safety, maintenance and operational procedures
• Work rotating 12-hour shifts, including afternoon and night shifts

Our Ideal Candidate

• Trade Qualified Boilermaker / Boilermaker Welder certificate
• Previous experience in industrial, manufacturing or processing plant maintenance
• Strong fabrication, welding and repair skills
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
• Experience with structural steel, plant equipment and general maintenance fabrication
• Previous experience working with processing equipment highly regarded
• Previous experience in a meat processing environment is advantageous
• Reliable, safety-focused and committed to quality workmanship
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
• Willingness to work rotating 12-hour shifts
• Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to maintenance
