Our client is an inner city based NFP organisation focussing on improving the lives of people with special requirements.
The Senior Payroll Specialist is responsible for managing end-to-end fortnightly payroll and the employee payroll lifecycle, from onboarding and variations through to leave, allowances, deductions, superannuation and terminations. The position works across relevant Enterprise Agreement and Award conditions, ensuring employees are paid accurately, compliantly and on time.
This role provides hands-on ownership of Employment Hero and shapes how Employment Hero HR and Employment Hero Payroll interact, including timesheet synchronisation, integration dashboard errors, award rule tagging and automated award interpretation. This role also develops and implements strategies to overcome complex obstacles and recommends best practice courses of action through supporting payroll reconciliations, reporting, audits, testing and process improvement.
To be successful in this role, you will be an Employment Hero expert with exposure to payroll remediation processes, as well as end to end payroll processing. Your ability to build strong working relationships with key internal and external stakeholders will be very well valued in this role.
