We are currently seeking an experienced HVAC Technician to join our client on a contract basis, with an immediate start from 8 September 2026.
This is a great opportunity for a qualified HVAC professional with strong maintenance, servicing and fault-finding experience who is ready to step into their next contract.
The Role
As an HVAC Technician, you will be responsible for carrying out a range of HVAC maintenance, servicing and repair activities while ensuring work is completed safely and to a high standard.
Your duties may include:
- Servicing, maintaining and repairing HVAC systems
- Preventative and scheduled maintenance
- Diagnosing and rectifying HVAC faults
- Breakdown maintenance and repairs
- Inspecting and testing HVAC equipment and components
- Identifying faults and potential maintenance requirements
- Completing installations and component replacements where required
- Reading and interpreting technical drawings and specifications
- Completing relevant service and maintenance documentation
- Working alongside trades, maintenance and operational teams
- Ensuring all work complies with relevant safety procedures and standards
What We’re Looking For
To be considered, you will ideally have:
- Relevant HVAC / Refrigeration & Air Conditioning trade qualification
- Previous experience working as an HVAC Technician
- Strong maintenance and fault-finding experience
- Relevant licences and certifications for the role
- Current Australian Driver’s Licence
- Strong understanding of workplace health and safety requirements
- Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Reliable attitude and strong attention to detail
- Full Australian working rights
- Ability to meet any required pre-employment or site requirements
Experience within commercial, industrial, mining or other heavy industry environments will be highly regarded.
