System Analyst

System Analyst |6-Month Contract | $850-$900/day Inclusive of Super | Hybrid Baseline | Baseline Security Clearance Required

We're currently partnering with a Federal Government organisation delivering technology initiatives that support essential services for Australians.

This opportunity will see you joining a collaborative team responsible for improving and enhancing existing systems, supporting new technology capabilities, and ensuring solutions are practical, secure and aligned with business needs.

We're looking for a Systems Analyst who enjoys understanding how systems operate, asking thoughtful questions, and turning business requirements into clear and actionable technical outcomes. You'll work closely with stakeholders, architects, developers and testers to help shape solutions from concept through to delivery.

• Gathering, analysing and documenting business and technical requirements
• Understanding existing systems, processes and data flows to identify risks, constraints and opportunities for improvement
• Developing system specifications, process models and supporting documentation
• Contributing to solution design discussions and evaluating options against business, security and technical requirements
• Working alongside architects, developers, testers and operational teams throughout the delivery lifecycle
• Supporting integration, testing and implementation activities
• Investigating system issues and defects and helping identify practical, long-term solutions
• Maintaining clear documentation and ensuring requirements remain traceable throughout delivery

• Demonstrated experience gathering, analysing and documenting business and technical requirements.
• Strong understanding of system analysis, solution design and software delivery practices.
• Experience creating functional and non-functional specifications, process models and technical artefacts.
• A collaborative approach and the ability to work effectively across business and technical teams.
• Strong communication skills and the confidence to engage with a variety of stakeholders.
• Experience supporting system integration, testing and implementation activities.
• Exposure to Microsoft's technology stack will be highly regarded.
• Previous experience working within Federal Government or other highly regulated environments will be highly regarded.
