Karston Homes
Karston Homes commenced operating in 2021 and has grown from a small two family operation to one that will build over 250 homes this calendar year.
Most of this building activity relates to new homes within SEQ estates.
Typical home sizes range from 180 – 240m2 and are of a turn-key finish.
We also do a select number of custom homes and townhouse projects each year.
We have maintained a 5 star customer satisfaction rating across multiple platforms and have had a long term approach to our business since day 1, which has held us in good standing with our clients and the industry in general. We would rather lose money over integrity.

The role:
We are looking for a energetic person to join our drafting team. You will be well supported by our drafting manager and construction manger.
What You Need:
- Experience is essential
- Qualification: Diploma of Building Design / Architectural Drafting, or equivalent
- Minimum 2+ years of professional experience using Revit in a residential environment
- Understanding of Australian building codes is essential
- Attention to detail is critical
Responsibilities:
- Sighting homes on allotments for customers
- Create detailed floor plans, elevations, sections, electrical layouts, and internal details
- Adapt master standard designs to suit specific client variations and site requirements using Revit
- Assisting with the development of the Karston Homes design suite
- 3D rendering
- Various other drafting related activities
