Gantry Crane Operator / Yard Hand Yatala

Hays Recruitment is currently looking for a reliable Gantry Crane Operator / Yard Hand to join a manufacturing

This is a great opportunity for someone looking for stable, long-term work in a hands-on manufacturing and yard environment.
Duties may include:

• Operating a gantry crane
• Moving and positioning materials safely around the yard and production areas
• Assisting with general yard and manufacturing duties
• Manual handling and other hands-on labouring tasks
• Following site safety procedures and work instructions
• Maintaining a clean and safe working environment

What we are looking for:

• Previous gantry crane or similar crane operating experience
• Valid crane operator ticket/licence
• Forklift licence highly regarded
• Manufacturing, construction, steel, precast or yard experience advantageous
• Physically fit and comfortable with hands-on work
• Reliable with strong attendance and punctuality
• Current drivers licence and reliable transport
• Looking for stable, long-term employment

Hours:

• Monday to Thursday: 8:00 am 4:00 pm
• Friday: 8:00 am 2:00 pm
