YOUR ROLE

As an integral part of the Patents Team of this Premier international firm, being directly mentored by a TOP-NOTCH high profile partner, you will love the STIMULATION+CHALLENGE+VARIETY providing FULL-SPECTRUM patent services (focusing on mechanical engineering technologies) including drafting/prosecuting applications, portfolio management, opposition/opinions+ liaising with IP lawyers to provide input in relation to commercial/litigation matters.

WHO YOU ARE

We are interested in hearing from you if you:

  • have 12 months or more  practical experience (up to senior associate level) as a patent attorney (or trainee) with a reputable patent attorney firm/law firm/in-house in Australia/overseas + are a registered patent attorney in Australia (or nearing qualification);
  • have a degree (or higher) in engineering (ideally mechanical) or science (materials science);
  • have solid experience in drafting/prosecuting patents that relate to mechanical engineering or materials science engineering;
  • are ambitious + serious about becoming the best patent attorney and holistic person YOU can be+ want to work with, learn from, contribute to and be inspired by industry-leading passionate professionals.
