Tecside is seeking experienced, trade-qualified Pipe Fitters for a major industrial construction project in Karratha, WA.
This is a full-time fixed-term opportunity, not shutdown work, offering long-term project continuity on a major industrial construction project.
The Opportunity
- FIFO from Perth
- Karratha-based major construction project
- 20:8 FIFO roster, generally 10-hour day shifts
- Roster expected to transition to 2:1 with 11-hour shifts
- Camp, meals and flights provided
- Weekly pay
- Annual leave and personal/sick leave accrual
- RDO accrual
- Site severance currently $278 per completed week, paid into ReddiFund
- Long-term project
About the Role You will be responsible for the fabrication, fit-up and installation of piping systems across a large-scale industrial construction project, including:
- Pipe spool fabrication, fit-up and installation
- Carbon steel, stainless steel and duplex piping
- Reading and interpreting isometric drawings and P&IDs
- Installation of flanges, valves, supports and piping components
- Controlled bolting and flange management
- Hydrotesting, test packs and pressure testing
- Mechanical completion, ITRs, punch and reinstatement
- Working safely within a multi-trade construction team
What We're Looking For
- Australian-recognised Fabrication/Boilermaker Trade Certificate
- 5+ years' major industrial construction experience
- Strong pipefitting experience on LNG, oil & gas, mining, refinery or process plant projects
- Experience with carbon steel, stainless steel and duplex
- Ability to read and interpret isometric drawings and P&IDs
- Strong fit-up, installation and piping construction experience
- Strong commitment to safety and quality
Essential Requirements
- Relevant Australian-recognised trade qualification

- Current Driver's Licence
- Australian working rights
- Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screen
Relevant High Risk Work Licences and major project experience highly regarded.
