Internal Audit (Senior Consultant / Assistant Manager)

A leading professional services firm is seeking an experienced Internal Audit Contractor to join its growing Risk Advisory team. This is an excellent opportunity for a Senior Consultant or Assistant Manager level professional looking to work across a diverse portfolio of clients across both financial and non-financial services.

Working alongside a high-performing team, you will support the delivery of internal audit engagements, provide risk insights to clients, and contribute to the ongoing enhancement of governance and control frameworks.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver end-to-end internal audit engagements across operational, compliance and risk-focused audits
• Conduct risk assessments, process reviews and control testing
• Prepare high-quality audit reports and present findings to stakeholders
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and control enhancement
• Support client relationship management and engagement delivery
• Work across multiple financial services clients, including banking, wealth and insurance sectors

About You

• Experience in Internal Audit, Risk Advisory or Assurance
• Background gained within consulting, professional services
• Strong understanding of governance, risk management and internal control frameworks
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and report-writing skills
• Relevant qualifications such as CA, CPA, CIA or equivalent are highly regarded
• Ability to hit the ground running in a fast-paced consulting environment
