THE OPPORTUNITY

Are you an experienced Assistant Director or Educational Leader ready to take the next step in your career? At Edge Early Learning, you'll partner with your Centre Director to lead a high-performing team, inspire quality practice and create exceptional outcomes for children, families and educators.

  3. Applicants must already hold valid Australian working rights.
  4. Previous leadership experience in a Long Day Care setting is essential.
  5. You must be available to work opening and/or closing shifts as required.

ABOUT YOU

You are a confident and approachable leader who enjoys mentoring educators, building strong relationships and delivering high-quality outcomes for children and families.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Support the Centre Director with day-to-day operations.
  • Lead the service in the Director's absence.
  • Coach and mentor educators.
  • Maintain compliance with the National Quality Framework.
  • Build strong relationships with families and the community.

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS

Qualifications

  • Completed Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care
    OR Graduate Diploma / Masters of Teaching with a minimum 2–3 years’ Educator experience in a long day care setting within Australia
  • Leadership experience in Long Day Care.

Certificates & Checks

  • Working with Children Check
  • First Aid, CPR, Asthma & Anaphylaxis
  • Relevant Child Safety training
  • RRHAN (SA where applicable)
