QC Officer
- Join a food manufacturing company as a QC Officer.
- Conduct quality checks and raw material assessments.
- Perform basic wet chemistry and laboratory housekeeping.
Company/Role:
- Food Manufacturing Company based in the South Eastern suburbs of Melbourne seeking QC Officer to join their team
- Casual contract with 1-3 shifts per week
- Ongoing position, with potential for full-time work
- Seeking enthusiastic food graduates with internship experience
- Should be flexible to do day shift (10am to 4pm) and afternoon shift (4pm to 1:30am).
Your main responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- QC checks along the manufacturing line
- Raw material assessment
- Basic wet chemistry (titrations, pH)
- Laboratory housekeeping
- Calibration of instrumentation
- Filing and paperwork
- Occasional Microbiological Testing
About you -
- Completed a Bachelor of Science (Food Science) or a related discipline.
- Experience working in a food manufacturing environment
- Strong work ethic
- Valid drivers license and vehicle required
- Quality focused individual with excellent attention to detail.
- Good communication skills.
- Work experience from a fast paced environment
